Pompeii and Villa Arianna

Essas fotos foram tiradas durante as três semanas em que trabalhamos na região VI das ruínas de Pompeii, documentando as plantas baixas, usos e condições dos edifícios, e na Villa Arianna, onde desenterramos um jardim de 100m de comprimento e documentamos a organização das plantas. A Universidade de Maryland esta envolvida na restauração das vilas romanas de Stabiae, e a Villa Arianna e' uma das tres maiores villas.

These photos were taken during our three weeks working the Pompeii's Region VI, documenting plans, uses and conditions of the buildings, and in the Villa Arianna, where we continued excavation of a 100 yard long garden, documenting the planting patterns. The University of Maryland has been involved in the restoration of the ancient villas of Stabiae, the Villa Arianna is one of the three largest there.
